Normal seals
Normal seals are flat in shape. During the sealing process, the applied pressure compresses the rubber and the seal together, pushing them inside. When the seal returns to its normal position, the rubber plug creates a gap between the seal and the plastic, making it difficult to achieve an effective flip-off seal.
Meditop seals
To address the drawbacks of normal flat seals, we have developed convex-shaped seals. These seals have sufficient space for the rubber plug to return to its normal position after sealing, effectively fulfilling the purpose of flip-off seals.
